Wanjiang Street Youth League Cadres: Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Mission

Enter Enterprises ( Chaoye ) Thematic Youth League Day Activity: Research and Learning

To commemorate the 99th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement, further promote the May Fourth spirit of "patriotism, progress, democracy, and science," thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi's important speeches, and further enhance the ability of youth league cadres to serve young people, Wu Jinchi, Secretary of the Wanjiang Street Youth League Committee, and Chen Liping, Deputy Secretary, led cadres from various community youth organizations to conduct a "Remaining True to Our Original Aspiration and Mission" themed Youth League Day activity at Shangjia Urban Industrial Park on the morning of May 4, 2018. This involved visiting enterprises for research and learning.

This activity mainly investigated the situation of young enterprises in Dongguan. The purpose was to allow youth league cadres, through research and learning at Shangjia Urban Industrial Park, to understand the social environment for youth innovation and entrepreneurship, better serve and guide young people to participate in socialist modernization, and help Guangdong achieve "four leading roles".

On the day of the activity, the Wanjiang Street youth league cadres visited Shangjia Urban Industrial Park. First, Lai Yuzhen, the project manager of the industrial park, introduced a series of information about Shangjia Urban Industrial Park, including its history, nature, areas of involvement, and its role in the social industrial chain. She also introduced the incubator's operating model.

It is understood that Shangjia Urban Entrepreneurship Park was established on November 4, 2016, focusing on four smart industries: smart information, smart manufacturing, smart life, and smart services. By providing one-stop entrepreneurial services to entrepreneurs in terms of funding, business, technology, market, human resources, law, and training, the aim is to help entrepreneurs create products with the most market value and commercial potential, and to cultivate the core competitiveness and rapid and healthy development capabilities of enterprises. The industrial park has more than 50 resident enterprises, covering multiple high-tech industries such as precision manufacturing and new materials. In 2017, it was rated as a "Technological Innovation and Development Demonstration Park" by Wanjiang Street, and in early 2018, it was rated as a Dongguan Enterprise Incubator (Class B) and a Dongguan Makerspace by the Dongguan Science and Technology Bureau.

Next, the youth league cadres conducted a field visit to Dongguan Chaoye Precision Equipment Co., Ltd., a resident enterprise in the industrial park. The group toured Chaoye's production line, products, and office areas. The company was established in 2012 and has established a research and development institution to research and develop industrial special equipment, instruments, and molds. It has received numerous honors, including "High-tech Enterprise," "High-growth Enterprise," "Guangdong Province Contract-Honoring and Credit-Keeping Enterprise," and Dongguan's Doubling Plan Pilot Enterprise.

Field Trip

The youth league cadres also visited some enterprises and makerspaces in the industrial park's office building.

After the visits, the youth league cadres, along with representatives from the park and Chaoye Precision, held an exchange on innovation and entrepreneurship in the multi-functional room on the third floor of the park.

In the meeting room, Mo Weihong, the chief financial officer of Chaoye Precision, introduced Chaoye's development history and the core competitiveness of its products. Lin Wansheng, the company's vice chairman, shared the hardships and challenges encountered during the entrepreneurial process. Subsequently, Lai Yuzhen, the project manager of the industrial park, introduced the support policies provided by the park for college students and youth entrepreneurs, while He Peyi, the project director, introduced the park's advantages and preferential policies in supporting entrepreneurship.

The Wanjiang Street youth league cadres also shared their views on innovation and entrepreneurship. Through sharing and exchange, participants gained a deeper understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship.
